Ensō – “is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create”. Ensō is expression of spirit of the creator and once is drawn, it’s never changes. It’s never complete, and always in-perfect, as a puppy that born in a breeder hands, there always is a space for improvement. This symbol perfectly fits to my vision of dog breeding, that’s why l decided to use it in my kennel name. I strongly believe that genetic plays decisive role in dogs being, once the puppy is “drawn” it’s never change. Breeders role in this process is a ability to keep his mind open, vision clear, breeder is hand that draws that “puppy” circle, and the back ground, that breeder has, strongly affects outcome. That’s why I’m in never ending process of learning more about dogs, they behavior, genetic, history, my Ensō is in-perfect, this process will never stops.

Akita Inu is one of six Japanese native breeds. It’s not a ancient breed in a way we see it today. Actually Akita Inu has established only in the beginning of 20. century. It’s accepted that ancestors of the breed was a large dogs that earlier mentioned in a late 1800s. Large dogs were used for property protection, hunting and dog fight.

Our Akita Inu kennel is registered in FCI and I’m a member of AKIHO. In our breeding we are focused on producing healthy, sound, typical dogs that are truly representatives of their breed. In Ensō we care for breed history and our mission is preserving and protect the Akita Inu.

We are small kennel only with couple of litter per year ( if we get lucky) every breeding that is planed in Ensō is a years of breed study and research. We support our puppy families for life. Every puppy is from health tested parents, including testing for inherent condition. Couple is also tested and matched by diversity testing to get the best results in offsprings.

All our stud and show dogs are out pet dogs. For now our family is as big as 8 dogs and 3 humans. Our dogs live with us in home, dogs get everyday walk outside of territory to offer them quality of life. Our Akitas are trained in obedience, show training and fitness training. We love to spend our life with our dogs! Puppies are raised in house in a busy environment because me and my husband work from home and it’s always someone making a mess. Puppies are raised using different protocols as Avidog and Puppy Culture.
